Alec Baldwin's Trump Decks Christmas "Loser Tree" With Former White House Staffers in 'SNL' Cold Open

Alec Baldwin once again reprised his impersonation of President Donald Trump in Saturday Night Live's cold open on Saturday. 

In a special Christmas message from the White House, Trump declared the “war on Christmas is over and will soon be replaced with the war on North Korea.”

“I’ve had an amazing first year in office, maybe the best in the history of America or the world,” Baldwin said.

Joined by wife Melania (Cecily Strong), Baldwin’s Trump thanked everyone who worked for him and all the “haters and losers” who tried to “destroy” him, by putting them on the “loser tree.”

'SNL's' Pete Davidson Shows Off Hillary Clinton Tattoo

Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson posted a photo on Instagram Friday indicating that he got a tattoo of former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Accompanying the picture of the ink, Davidson said the "tattoo of [his] hero" was meant to be a Christmas gift for Clinton.

"Thanks for being such a badass and one of the strongest people in the universe," he added. The picture is the only photo on his verified Instagram account.

Mario Batali Bashed for Including Recipe in Email Apology

Celebrity chef Mario Batali has issued an apology to his newsletter subscribers for his sexual misconduct against women, but he confounded some by ending his message with a recipe for a "holiday-inspired breakfast."

Batali was immediately blasted on social media for including in the Friday email the "Pizza Dough Cinnamon Rolls" recipe after his apology for making "many mistakes."

Several women have made allegations that he touched them inappropriately. Batali admitted his behavior and first apologized in a statement Monday.

Sheila Nevins Stepping Down From HBO Documentary Films After 38 Years

Sheila Nevins is leaving HBO Documentary Films, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

News of Nevins' departure was first reported in an extensive interview with Maureen Dowd in The New York Times, which went online early Saturday.

Sources tell THR that Nevins will be leaving early next year.

Nevins, 78, has headed HBO's documentary division since 1979, serving as president since 2004, with HBO having won 26 Oscars on her watch, most recently A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness in 2016.

Fox Responds to Backlash Over Rupert Murdoch Sexual Harassment Comments

On Thursday, Rupert Murdoch sat down for an interview with Sky News, in which the 21st Century Fox executive chairman talked about the recently unveiled Disney deal and the multiple sexual misconduct claims that have been made against Fox News figures.

When asked by Sky News host Ian King, "How harmful has the whole raft of sexual harassment allegations been for the business?," Murdoch said, "That's all nonsense."

His remarks, including suggesting that former CEO Roger Ailes was the only Fox News figure to face allegations, have received backlash.

Watergate Series from George Clooney the Works at Netflix

Netflix is eyeing the Watergate scandal as its next high-profile miniseries.

The drama is being developed by George Clooney and Bridge of Spies writer Matt Charman. Clooney’s Smokehouse Pictures will produce the eight-episode limited series, with the film star and his partner Grant Heslov serving as executive producers. The project also hails from Sonar Entertainment, which inked a first look deal with Smokehouse last year.
